New Kits for a New YearWork Doers Football Club officially unveiled their new kits to the public last week. The orange jerseys harken back to the days of the dominant Holland teams. The kit sports the usual WDFC badge but a new feature is the Blarney Stone logo. The fine pub is sponsoring the champions for the campaign and will be represented by Bogey Lowenstein's boys all season long. "I'm quite happy with the color," said Striker Mark Conrad. "I'm dutch and I basically chose the color with Tito." Work in Progress Football Club will also sport new kits since they are a new team. The green jerseys were furnished by Diamond Knot Brewing Company and Murphy's Pub. Both businesses are pitching in to help the upstart club this campaign. "The jerseys are subtle but aggressive," said WiP FC manager Alex Englund. "I'm happy with how they turned out and so are the rest of the guys." The WiP FC badge/ logo was designed by WDFC manager and design wunderkind Jon Augustavo. Copyright 2010 Work Doers FC |
