Norway native will head home to Kristiansund to see his family which he has not seen in three years. He will also go on trial for Vikings FK's team mangers reserve squad. Along the way he bagged three goals, four assists and one man of the match honor for his performance against Disorderly Conduct on July 12, 2009. In that game Totev tallied two goals and a hat trick of assists. "We will miss him," said WDFC manager Jon Augustavo. "Nobody controls the midfield like Bjorn. He is the Claudio Reyna to our 2002 US men's world cup team." Totev hopes to come back to the States by summer time 2010 to resume his play with the club. "The trip home is quite exciting," said Totev by skype. "I haven't seen home in so long and I have several bothersome injuries that need treatment. But I will be back to rock on the field and with the band." Copyright 2010 Work Doers FC |
